Vinota Networks built the Vinota app as a Free app with in-app purchases. This SERVICE is provided by Vinota Networks at a minimal cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Vinota unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

For a better experience while using our Service, we require you to provide us with personally identifiable information which are described within this privacy policy. The information that you provide will be retained by us and used as described herein.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data.

This Log Data may include information such as the following.

  • Your phone number
  • Mobile operator
  • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device name
  • Operating system and version
  • Version of Vinota currently installed
  • Configuration of the Vinota app when utilizing our Service
  • Time and date of your use of the Service
  • Other statistics such as your UUID, device manufacturer, make and model.

Connection specific information such as your phone number, mobile operator, IP address etc. will be accessed for the purpose of user identification and customer support and to communicate with you. Call related data such as phone numbers of the calling and receiving party, start time, call duration, call quality etc. will be retained for the purpose of providing better customer support and continuous improvements to our Products and Services.

When you install the Vinota App and register, you will be required to provide us with your phone number. Your phone number is used for identification and account verification purposes and becomes your Vinota username as well as your caller identification number. We may also use your phone number to connect with you from our business WhatsApp numbers for the purpose of assisting with the sign up process or providing customer support. At the time of registration, we will also check whether you already have a Vinota account. In addition, we collect your email for the purpose of identification and to send you important updates regarding your account, payments, and our Services.

Vinota reads the contents of the activation SMS sent to you by Vinota for the sole purpose of service activation. Vinota will not read the contents of any other messages on your device.

No payment related information is stored on Vinota. Payment information such as your bank details and other financial information relevant to your chosen payment method are collected in compliance with PCI DSS standards and used for customer billing, fraud prevention, refunds, bonuses and delivering prizes.

With your consent, contacts will be gathered but limited to phone numbers from the Users' device which will be transmitted securely to our servers and will not be shared with any 3rd party. Vinota will sync the contacts on your phone with the contacts list in your Vinota app. Other Vinota users in your contact list will be identified, to and enable you to transfer app credit to them conveniently.

However, if you choose not to share your contacts, you will still be able to transfer credit to other Vinota users if you wish to.

The microphone on your device needs to be accessed in order to enable outgoing calls.

We collect, retain and process your personal data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. Data will be uploaded to the following service URLs which are wholly owned by Vinota and not shared with any 3rd party.

Vinota uses well reputed third-party payment processors such as PayPal with strong organizational and technical measures to protect your personal information in compliance with international laws. Vinota is not liable or responsible for such third-party transactions.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
